Why are you seeking this office?

I'm running for constable because I want to support the town of Wilton and supplement my other volunteer activities. Wilton is a great community and I want to be involved where help is needed.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is making Wilton a more vibrant community. Wilton needs a long-term vision for its future including housing, business development and amenities. While a constable does not have a direct impact on these issues, I will support town efforts to improve our community.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I'm energetic and resourceful.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

40+ years of management experience. A wide variety of volunteer activities including serving as treasurer of several non-for-profit entities, coaching and gardening.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're probably right.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I'm a two-time cancer survivor and a former competitive cyclist.
