WILTON, CT — Police are investigating what they describe as a "suspicious death" at a Wilton residence.
Wilton Deputy Police Chief Robert Cipolla has advised there are "no outstanding threats to public safety," in a statement released later Tuesday afternoon.
Police responded to a 911 call at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, from a resident who said their neighbor was found deceased. First responders found a man in the detached garage on the property, according to police. The man was not breathing, appeared to have "endured significant trauma," and was pronounced deceased at the scene by a paramedic.
