Porsche, Handgun, and More Stolen in Overnight Spree: Police

WILTON, CT -- The Wilton police are investigating multiple overnight (July 9 into July 10) motor vehicle burglaries on Ridgefield Road, Mountain Road, Millstone Road and Hickory Hill Road in the northern part of Wilton. Cash, personal items and a handgun were stolen from these vehicles. The department is also investigating a Porsche Cayenne, stolen from a driveway on St. John's Road.

The police say thieves are targeting unlocked vehicles and stealing vehicles which have the keys left in them, and are reminding residents to lock vehicles and remove any items of value, even if parked at their residence.
