Relay For Life Of Wilton Has Successful Kickoff Event

Local cancer survivors, caregivers, volunteers, and community leaders rallied together at the Trackside Teen Center in Wilton.

From Northeast Region | American Cancer Society, Inc.: Local cancer survivors, caregivers, volunteers, and community leaders rallied together on Saturday, February 24th launching and celebrating the 2018 Relay For Life fundraising season with a kickoff party at Trackside Teen Center in Wilton. More than 25 joined in the movement to celebrate, remember and fight back against cancer. It was also an opportunity to showcase how funds raised through Relay For Life benefit the local community.

“Now is a great time to learn more about Relay, how the American Cancer Society is fighting cancer from every angle and consider how just a few hours of your time over the next few months could make an impact on our community,” said Grace Scinto, Senior Community Development Manager of the American Cancer Society.

Mark your calendar and plan to attend our local Relay For Life of Wilton on Friday, June 8th for 5:00 PM at Wilton High School’s outdoor Stadium.
