Rollover Crash Results In Charges Against Wilton Driver: Police

WILTON, CT — A 63-year-old Wilton man was recently issued infractions after he rolled over his Lexus in a crash on Range Road near Bittersweet Trail, according to police.

The crash occurred at about 11:15 a.m. on April 3, and the driver, David Stevens, suffered minor injuries in the crash and was treated in Norwalk Hospital.

Police said Stevens was traveling south on Range Road when his car left the roadway, and he struck a tree and mailbox before the car rolled over onto its roof.

Stevens was issued infractions for traveling unreasonably fast for conditions, and failure to drive in the proper lane. His answer date is April 28.
