SAT or ACT? Let's make a plan!

Free information session about test prep at the Wilton Trackside Teen Center on Wednesday, June 1st at 7:30pm

Both the SAT and the ACT have already undergone changes this year, so the landscape of college admissions testing is becoming increasingly complicated. The ACT’s Writing test underwent a major overhaul starting last fall. And now the SAT’s new curriculum and scoring were implemented in March to better mirror the Common Core standards.

Planning ahead can help alleviate the stress associated with the testing process. Lynn Carnegie, founder of local test prep company Carnegie Pollak, will be giving a presentation at the Wilton Trackside Teen Center to help parents understand their options and devise plans. The free event starts at 7:30pm on Wednesday, June 1st.

“There are so many questions parents don’t even know to ask about this process, especially with the changes to the SAT and ACT this year,” Carnegie says. “My presentations will give an overview of the testing options to help create a plan and make the whole process less daunting.”

Carnegie Pollak has been preparing Fairfield County students for standardized tests for more than 30 years. Their outstanding track record with group classes and private tutoring has earned the company the prestigious Best of the Gold Coast award for more than seven years.

Join Carnegie at this free presentation to learn about the PSAT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests, and ACT; the various options to prepare for these tests; and how to avoid common pitfalls in the process.
