Still Time to Taste Restaurant Week Specials

The inaugural event ends Saturday.

You only have one day left to give the inaugural Westport-Weston Restaurant Week a try. Nearly 20 area eateries are offering special prix fixe lunch and dinner menus through Saturday night.

Casual restaurants will offer lunch for $15 and dinner for $25, while upscale restaurants will offer lunch for $20 and dinner for $35. The number of courses and inclusion of beverages may vary. Northeast Wine Brokers, in conjunction with Classic Wines, will feature select wines by the glass at participating restaurants for $5.

The participating restaurants include:  Acqua Ristorante, Balducci's, Black Duck Café, Blue Lemon, Bertucci's, Bobby Q's Barbeque & Grill, Bombay Bar and Grill, DaPietro's Restaurant, Dunville's Restaurant, La Villa Trattoria, Manolo, Matsu Sushi, River House Tavern, Rizzuto's Wood-Fired Restaurant and Bar, Splash Restaurant & Bar, Tarantino's, Tavern on Main, The Dressing Room and The Mansion Clam House.

Linda Kavanagh, the chamber's publicist who is helping to organize the event, said if the week is a success the chamber might also sponsor another one this summer.
