Stratford Man Charged With Breaking Into Wilton Home: Police
Wilton Police answered a call early Sunday morning from a resident who claimed that his contractor was trying to break into his house.

WILTON, CT — Police have charged a man with trying to break into a home.
Wilton Police responded to a 911 call around 5:30 Sunday morning from a resident who claimed that his contractor was trying to break into his house.
Police stopped the suspect, Raymond Altemose, 60, of Diane Terrace in Stratford, after he had left the house in a Chevrolet Silverado, traveling south on Ridgefield Road.

Police charged Altemose with entering the residence with intent to commit a crime. He was held on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear before Norwalk Superior Court on Jan. 27.
