Summertime Classics: Mozart Requiem

The Music on the Hill Summer Chorus presents the Mozart Requiem on July 28 at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church.

Join Music on the Hill for the Summer Chorus performance of Mozart's Requiem, with soloists and orchestra, led by artistic director Ellen Dickinson, Conductor.

The concert takes place on Thursday, July 28, at 8 p.m. at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church at WEPCO, 48 New Canaan Road (Rte. #106), Wilton.

About Summer Chorus

Each July, the Music on the Hill Summer Chorus draws singers from across the region to perform a major work from the classical choral repertoire. This year's 70-member chorus is the largest in the group's fourteen year history.

The Summer Chorus has performed cantatas by J.S. Bach, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass, the Brahms Requiem, and Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, among others. Its concerts have been held at Wilton's St. Matthew's church since 2012.

Music on the Hill is an independent non-profit organization offering music workshops, an August Summer Sings series, and concerts by four performing ensembles -- Summer Chorus, Festival Chorus, Chamber Chorus, and the Jubilate Ringers handbell choir -- all under the dynamic leadership of its artistic directors, David H.
