As before, the new track is available exclusively for running and walking only.  Skating/rollerblading, skateboards, scooters, bicycles, strollers, and any other wheeled objects are prohibited, as they may damage the surface.  Town-owned parking lots or the sidewalk along Route 7 can be used, as appropriate, for those activities.

The Town would like to thank Wilton Parks and Recreation Commissioner John Macken, Wilton High School Athletic Director Chris McDougal, and Parks and Recreation Director Steve Pierce who led the Track Replacement Project Committee as well as the Parks and Recreation Commission for their input and advocacy.  The Town would also like to recognize Back the Track for their role with advocacy, input and financial support of the track replacement project.
