The Board of Selectmen recently authorized design development and costs for a proposed new Police Headquarters to be submitted to voters for consideration at a special town meeting in late January 2022.  Please take advantage of the followiing two opportunities to learn more about the why and what of the proposed new headquarters.

Wilton Police Headquarters Open House and Tours, Saturday, October 16th

The Wilton Police Department will be offering tours of its facility on Saturday, October 16, 2021 between 9 am and 12 pm. Members of the community are invited  to stop by anytime during these hours for a tour.

Zoom Public Information Session on Monday, October 18th

There will  be a public information session on the proposed new Wilton Police Headquarters on Monday, October 18th at 7:00 pm via Zoom.  Residents may ask questions at the session. 

The session will include:

  • First Selectwoman, Lynne Vanderslice will provide an overview of the project and process.
  • Police Chief John Lynch and Facilities Director Chris Burney will review current Police Headquarters deficiencies.
  • Police-Town Hall Building Committee Co-Chairs David Waters and Patti Temple will review the recommendation for the construction of a new headquarters.
