Trackside brings back self-defense class for teens and moms
A self-defense class for women is open for registration at Trackside Teen Center for Wilton teens and their moms.

Middle school and high school students and their moms are invited to a special class series designed to teach self-defense techniques for women. Back by popular demand, Lisa Bohacs will be teaching the Mother Daughter Self-Defense class at Trackside on Thursday evenings in March from 7pm to 8pm. Following the success of the Girls’ Self-Defense class at Trackside, the Teen Center of Wilton is delighted to initiate another self-defense program to train teens and women.
Lisa Bohacs has been involved in the Martial Arts for 37 years. She is a 5th degree black belt and has been teaching for 33 years. She has competed nationally and internationally for the U.S.A. She has been on four U.S.A. National teams, has taken two individual silver medals and one bronze in women’s heavyweight fighting and two overall team gold medals.
Registration is available online at www.trackside.org. There is a class fee of $100 per student, or $200 per mother/daughter pair, which may be submitted online or paid by check. Students are encouraged to register soon as class spaces are limited.
