Trackside to Host S4 Study Skills Parent Workshop
Trackside Teen Center to Host Popular S4 Study Skills Parent Workshop for Wilton High School Students

Trackside will be hosting a workshop for parents, on what they can do to support their student’s study practice. This workshop, to be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at 6:30 pm, is free and open to the public.
The S4 program is founded on educational research and evidence-based studies. Its highly interactive approach is designed to clearly demonstrate how to apply students’ own curriculum and course material to the taught methodologies and systems. The workshops are taught by experience teachers. Each class is limited to 15 students.
The S4 programs are designed to bolster academic confidence, motivation and preparation as academic workload and expectations increase rise. Skills taught include: planning, organizing, executive functioning strategies, as well as quiz, test, and long-term project preparation strategies.
