Trackside offers self-defense class for teen girls

Teen girls self-defense class

Trackside Teen Center is offering a Girls’ Self-Defense class for teens in grades 6 through 8 on Wednesday afternoons, from 4:15 to 5:15, October 19th through November 16th.

Girls in grades 6 through 8 are welcome to join the Girls' Self-Defense class at Trackside. Students will learn
a basic understanding and awareness of when and how to use various self-defense techniques. Students should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers to class. Registration is available online at www.trackside.org.
A class fee of $100 ($20 per class) may also be submitted online.

The Instructor for this class will be Lisa Bohacs. Lisa has been involved in the Martial Arts for 37
years. She is a 5th degree black belt and has been teaching for 33 years. She competed nationally and internationally for the U.S.A. She has been on four U.S.A. National teams, has taken two individual silver medals and one bronze in women’s heavyweight fighting and two overall team gold medals.
