United Ride: 1,000 Motorcycles To Roll Through Wilton On Sept. 10

The 1,000 or more motorcyclists of CT United Ride will roll through Wilton on Sunday, Sept. 10.

WILTON, CT — The 1,000 or more motorcyclists of CT United Ride will roll through Wilton on Sunday, Sept. 10.

The annual event, supporting 9/11 first responders and their families, will begin on Westport Road/Route 33 at the Westport town line and will continue toward Danbury Road/Route 7.

Once the riders reach Danbury Road, all northbound traffic will be closed as the motorcycle procession, led by the Connecticut State Police, makes its way to Georgetown. Organizers expect the closure to last approximately 45 minutes, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Wilton Police and Wilton CERT members will be on hand to assist with closing intersections.

Residents who need to travel during this time are advised to make alternate arrangements and avoid Danbury Road between Westport Road to Route 107.
