Weston Woman Injured After Car Strikes Tree On Old Highway In Wilton
A 60-year-old Weston woman was taken to Norwalk Hospital after a crash on Old Highway in Wilton, police said.
WILTON, CT — Wilton police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that sent a Weston woman to the hospital late Feb. 20.
According to an accident information summary released by the Wilton Police Department, officers responded at 11:34 p.m. to the area of Old Highway near Davenport Drive.
Police said a 2021 Audi Q5 was traveling east on Old Highway when it left the roadway on the right-hand side and struck a tree. The operator, identified as Kristen Ann Raffaele, 23, of Weston, told police the area was dark and the curve was hard to see, according to the report.

A passenger, Kerry C. Raffaele, 60, of Weston, was transported to Norwalk Hospital by Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps for shoulder pain, police said.
Police reported that the driver had no apparent injuries. Both occupants were wearing shoulder and lap belts, and the vehicle’s airbags deployed, according to the summary.

The vehicle was towed from the scene. The report was signed Feb. 21, police said.
