Wilton DTC Drafts Resolution in Response to Likly Email

At a Monday meeting, the Wilton Democratic Town Committee decided it needed to respond to ahead of a budget vote the previous week.

That response came in the form of a drafted resolution, which has since been posted on the DTC's website. It reads:

"The Wilton Democratic Town Committee wants to thank the Board of Education led by Chairman Gil Bray for its hard work and due diligence. This is especially true during these difficult economic times when the Board needs to craft a proposed budget that reconciles the competing interests of strong support for our outstanding school system and minimizing tax increases.

Furthermore, we strongly disapprove of efforts made to subvert the Board, its processes, and the good name of selected members."
