Experience: NA

Family in government: No.

The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Wilton’s mill rate is higher than other neighboring communities in Fairfield County with excellent public schools.

If elected and I will support BOS efforts to grow and diversify the Grand List with the goal of establishing a more competitive mill rate.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I have extensive legal and business and non-profit board experience which will be an asset to the Board of Finance. My background enables me to thoroughly analyze all sides of an issue and develop viable business solutions.

Accomplishments:

I have advised corporate clients on:

- raising capital, reducing risks and costs, and and improving operational efficiency;

- structuring financial transactions;

- conducting regulatory investigations;

- managing complex litigation;

- preparing financial and regulatory disclosures;

- designing and overseeing global compliance programs;

- closing complex real estate transactions; and

-challenging tax assessment appeals.

I have served on the board of two educational non-profits.

My contributions include:

- establishing new corporate partnerships;

- implementing objective metrics to measure performance and progress;

- reducing operational expenses by adopting new technology and practices; and

- enhancing corporate governance practices and internal controls.

Other issues:

You can count on me to be a strong fiscal guardian who understands Wilton's schools are a strategic asset.

You can also count on me to support efforts to grow and diversify Wilton's Grand List in order to maintain a competitive mill rate and improve our critical infrastructure.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I am a Fairfield County native, son of two public school teachers and a graduate of Fairfield Prep, Amherst College and Boston College Law School.

Over a decade ago, my wife and I decided to move to Wilton because of its exceptional schools, family friendly community, and large open spaces and proximity to New York and Boston. We could not be happier with our choice of Wilton as the place to raise our two sons.
