Wilton Firm Wins National Landscaping Award

The job for a residence in Redding included a custom freeform pool, multiple sunning terraces, an elevated firepit, and an outdoor shower.

WILTON, CT — Hoffman Landscapes in Wilton has announced it has been selected to receive a Gold Award of Excellence by the National Association of Landscape Professionals.

Each year, the National Association Landscape Professionals Awards of Excellence recognizes exceptional landscape, lawn care, and Each year, the National Association Landscape Professionals Awards of Excellence recognizes exceptional landscape, lawn care, and interior plantscape design projectss from around the nation. This year, 161 awards were bestowed for maintenance, design/build or contracting projects, with the highest distinction being the Gold Award.

The winning Fairfield County project was designed by Matthew Biron, one of Hoffman’s professional landscape architects. The craftsmen from Hoffman cleared and leveled the space for the backyard overhaul and built the homeowners a custom freeform pool, multiple sunning terraces, an elevated firepit, and an outdoor shower. Construction also encompassed a new back door for the house, which now opens to a “coffee patio.”

“We’re honored to be selected by our peers in the industry through the nation’s top landscape organization,” says Hoffman Landscapes president Mike Hoffman, who recently traveled to Louisville, KY to accept the award at NALP’s 2018 Expo. “Our team not only designed and constructed this project, but our maintenance department continues to care for the grounds.”
