Wilton Flooding Causes Damage, Detours, Delays

Overnight rains caused extensive flooding in Wilton along the Norwalk River, threatening businesses and impacting the commute along Rt. 7.  Police closed portions of the roadway north of Honey Hill Road, and detours spanned major sections of Wilton roads.

Drivers experienced heavier-than-normal delays, while business owners face potentially heavy damages and losses caused by the high waters.
