Wilton Girl Among Make-a-Wish Dream Recipients

A Wilton girl was diagnosed with a serious form of epilepsy and the local chapter of Wake-a-Wish helped make her dream come true.

WILTON, CT-- Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses and the Connecticut chapter has granted more than 2,500 wishes since it began in 1986, according to WTNH.

Make-A-Wish Connecticut made a wish come true for Ella Wright from Wilton. Ella suffers from a serious form of epilepsy and Make-A-Wish created a play space at her home for her and her friends to enjoy.

Make-A-Wish Connecticut grants an average of around 200 wishes each year, according to their website, "each one a life-affirming testament to hope, inspiration, and resilience."

"Wishes strengthen wish kids and their families, rally communities together, and change the lives of everyone involved. Experience the stories of those who know firsthand the power of a wish-come-true."
