Wilton Hit and Run Suspect Turns Himself In: Police
The arrest stemmed from a collision on Danbury Road in January.

WILTON, CT — A suspect accused of leaving the scene of a crash in January turned himself in to Wilton Police Saturday.
Jonathan Damast, 41, of Wilton was processed and booked after he turned himself in to the Wilton Police Department on a warrant at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, police say. Damast was charged with providing a false statement, reckless driving and evading.
Police say that Damast side-swiped a car going northbound on Danbury Road, and then sped off from the scene on Jan. 22.

Damast posted $5,000 bond and is set to appear in court on Feb. 28.
