Wilton Library Hosts Weir Farm Artist-In-Residence

Annette Calzone's work combines her studies in carving, figure sculpture, and lettering.

WILTON, CT — The Wilton Library will be holding a reception for Annette Calzone, Weir Farm's latest artist-in-residence, on Monday, Sept. 24 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Rimer Room.

Calzone’s work combines her studies in carving, figure sculpture, and lettering.

Weir Farm's Artist-in-Residence program (AIR) selects twelve artists to live and work at Weir Farm each year. To date, over 200 artists from throughout the U.S., as well as Tunisia, Germany, Australia, India and the Netherlands have participated in the AIR program. Visual artists apply for one month residencies in all media and diverse artistic points of view from traditional to experimental.Co-sponsored by Weir Farm Art Center and Weir Farm National Historic Site and presented by Wilton Library.
