Wilton Library to Screen 'Dior and I' for New Perspectives Series

The film won awards in 2014 at both the International Film Festival and the Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival.

WILTON, CT — The Wilton Library will be showing "Dior and I" as part of their New Perspectives film series.

The film is a behind the scenes look at the House of Dior and their newly appointed artistic director, Raf Simmons, a Belgian designer recently hired from Jil Sander. In the film, Simmons is given just eight weeks to create his first haute couture collection. Viewers have the opportunity to watch his creative process up to the final moment before the show at Paris Fashion Week. The film also pays homage to the seamstresses and fabric cutters who serve Simmons’ vision.

The film won awards in 2014 at both the International Film Festival and the Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival.
