Wilton Man Arrested on Warrant in Connection with Fiery DUI Crash: Police
The collision occurred in November.

WILTON, CT — A 26-year-old Wilton man was arrested Tuesday on charges of Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Drive in the Proper Lane in connection with a fiery crash on Nov. 23, according to Wilton police.
Hunter Stanfield, of Bittersweet Trail, turned himself into police custody Tuesday morning and was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
Details of the crash were not immediately available from police, but The Hour reports that Stanfield was pulled from the wreckage of the fiery crash on New Canaan Road. Half a dozen officers banded together to rescue Stanfield, who was trapped inside a 2001 Range Rover.

Stanfield is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Jan. 13.
