Wilton Man Charged with Hit-And-Run: Police
A Wilton man was charged with rear-ending another motorist then fleeing the scene of the accident.

WILTON, CT --- Police are reporting that a Wilton motorist collided with another vehicle while it was stopped in traffic, then fled the accident.
On Tuesday, April 24, at approximately 12:30 p.m., police say that Aiden Jaecklein, 19, drove his Chrysler convertible into a guardrail at the side of the road near the intersection of Ridgefield and Old Ridgefield roads. He then collided with the rear end of a Toyota Camry, which was stopped in traffic.
Police say that Jaecklin, from 110 Chicken Street in Wilton, then fled the scene north on Ridgefield Road. The owner of the Camry provided the Wilton police with the license plate number of the Chrysler, and Jaecklin was later apprehended.

Jaecklin was arrested and charged with reckless driving, evading responsibility for injury/property damage, following too closely, and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest.
