Wilton Parents Sue Schools, Town Over Miller-Driscoll Air Quality

The suit was filed Nov. 17 in Stamford Superior Court.

A Wilton couple has sued the Board of Education, the schools and town officials alleging their children suffered injuries because of poor indoor air quality.

The suit was dated Nov. 17 and was filed in Stamford Superior Court by Marissa and Christopher Lowthert, according to an article in the Wilton Bulletin.

The Lowtherts, who are represented by Westport attorney Joseph S. Hubicki, said their children, who go to the Miller-Driscoll School, have permanment or longstanding injuries, including chronic congestion, asthma, building-related illness and allergic symptoms, the Bulletin reported.

Defendants in the suit also include former Superintendent of Schools Gary Richards and Miller-Driscoll Principal Cheryl Jensen-Gerner.
