Wilton PD Arrest Man for Reckless Driving, Failure to Appear
Police say the man was training as a Boar's Head truck driver, got into a dispute with his trainer, and took off with the truck

WILTON, CT -- Police arrested Pablo Pesantez, 31, of 21 Clifton Place in New York City for reckless driving, driving a motor vehicle without permission and failure to appear in court.
On May 18, Pesantez was training as a deliveryman for Boar's Head Trucking Company and got into a disagreement with his trainer, police said. Pesantez drove off in the Boar's Head truck while his trainer was making a delivery in the Sandwich Shoppe on 7 Danbury Road. Pesantez pulled out into traffic, narrowly missing several cars, police said. Pesantez was stopped by State police and Westport PD after being spotted going northbound on Interstate 95.
Pesantez posted a bond for $3,000 for the charges of reckless driving and driving a motor vehicle without permission. While being processed, police discovered he had a warrant out in Stamford for failure to appear in court.
