Wilton PD Extradite PA Man to CT, Charge with Larceny, Fraud
Police say the man was siphoning off funds from the direct deposit of a local business's payroll.

WILTON, CT — Police arrested a Pennsylvania man for fraud and larceny after a lengthy investigation.
In June 2018, a local business contacted Wilton police to investigate an unauthorized change made to an employee's payroll direct deposit. Police discovered that the funds were being delivered to an account in Pennsylvania, according to a release.
After a "lengthy investigation," police learned the identity of the man who owned the account where the misdirected funds were being deposited.

Police extradited Joseph Kolosinsky, 59, of Jessup, Pennsylvania, to Connecticut on Jan. 4. He was charged with second degree larceny and criminal impersonation and is being held in lieu of a $150,000 bond. Kolosinsky was scheduled to be arraigned in Norwalk Superior Court on Jan. 7.
