Wilton Pet Food Company Settles Class-action Lawsuit
The company will pay more than $30 million.

Wilton-based Blue Buffalo Pet Products has settled a class-action lawsuit to the tune of $32 million.
The lawsuit was filed in Missouri federal court after it was found the premium pet food contained chicken meal, which was not listed in its ingredients, according to the Danbury News-Times.
A former supplier was blamed by the company for the inclusion of the ingredient. Blue Buffalo denied wrongdoing.
