Wilton Police Arrest Log For Feb. 13-19

WILTON, CT — A forgery and a two-car collision were at the top of the Wilton Police Department's blotter last week.
On Monday, police arrested a Schenectady, NY man for forgery. The case was opened on May 22, 2022, when a local store complained to the Wilton Police Department that a customer purchased items using counterfeit currency. Following an investigation, police suspected that Dusean Davis, 31, made the purchase using three $100 bills.
Police officers took Davis into custody at the Schenectady Prison and brought him back to HQ in Wilton, where he was charged with sixth-degree larceny and first-degree forgery. Davis was held n a $75,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Tuesday.

Police are reporting that four people may have been injured when the two cars in which they were traveling collided on Sunday.
The crash occurred shortly before 1 p.m. on Danbury Road.

A 2019 Honda CRV XL pulled out of 116 Danbury Road, into the path of a 2014 Toyota Highlander, according to the police report. Both cars were totaled, and "several occupants needed to be evaluated and transported by EMS," according to police.
