WILTON, CT — Police charged a Danbury man with DUI Friday after observing the car he was driving failing to maintain its lane on Danbury Road near Ridgefield Road.
Wilton police pulled the 2014 Chevrolet Traverse over at 2:15 a.m.
Officers reported the driver, Edward Turner, 57, of Hoyt Street, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Turner was evaluated by EMS to rule out any medical concerns, then failed to pass the standardized field sobriety tests.

Turner refused to submit to chemical testing, and was charged with DUI, and failure to maintain proper lane. He was released from custody after posting a bond of $250, and scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Dec. 21.
