Wilton police responded to a report of an assault at Bruce Bennett Nissan on 962 Danbury Road on Thursday around 4:25 p.m. Police say that reports from the victim and witnesses indicated that Francisco Serrano, 47, of Richards Avenue in Norwalk, thought the victim was talking about him behind his back, and retaliated.

Serrano placed his hands on the victim's neck in a choking manner and pushed him into a wall, causing damage to the wall, according to the police report. Serrano continued to strike the victim about the face and ribs with his fists and knees until employees intervened, and Serrano left the business, police said.
