Wilton Police Blotter: DUI, Trespassing and More

WILTON, CT — Police arrested three people in the last week of August on charges that included trespassing, DUI and other motor vehicle violations.
After receiving a complaint at approximately 06:26 a.m. on Aug. 25, police found Patrick Hannah, 32, of Laurel Hill Road in Ridgefield, sleeping inside his Honda Pilot in front of a house in Wilton that was not his.
"When contact was made with Hannah this officer detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath," the police report reads.

Hannah was asked to exit the vehicle and perform a series of standardized field sobriety tests, which he refused, according to police. Hannah was arrested and transported to Wilton Police Headquarters where he was charged with simple trespass, and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Hannah was released on a $260 cash bond and scheduled to appear before Norwalk Superior Court on Sept. 5.

On Aug. 28 at around 9:17 p.m., police were dispatched in response to a complaint that a Honda Pilot had nearly struck a guardrail while traveling southbound on Danbury Road near Old Mill Road.
Police caught up with the motorist near Cannon Road, observed no moving violations, but stopped the car for not having enough lights.
Following an investigation of the driver, Zurrana Reyes, 27, of Laurel Hill Road in Brookfield, police determined she was driving with a suspended license and had an active arrest warrant for failing to show up for a scheduled court appearance.
Reyes was taken into custody and charged with driving with an improper number of headlights, driving with a suspended license, and failure to return her license. She was held on a $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear before Norwalk Superior Court on Sept. 9.
On Aug. 30 at approximately 3:06 p.m., police responded to a call about a motor vehicle smoking in the area of Indian Hill Road, with the driver still inside.
Police reported they smelled the odor of alcohol coming from the driver, Christopher Hill, 53, of Boulderbrook Road in Wilton. Hill failed the field sobriety test that police gave him, and was transported to police headquarters.
While in custody, Hill submitted to a two-part breath test and scored 0.2389 and 0.2507, the legal limit being 0.08.
Hill was released on a $260 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Sept. 11.
