WILTON, CT —A house fire, DUI and a truck rollover were on the Wilton Police Department's blotter the past week.
The Wilton police are investigating video footage from a residential security camera which shows a car colliding with and damaging the right side railing of the bridge on Arrowhead Road. Examination of parts of the car left at the scene indicates the damage was caused by a 2006 Nissan Altima. The timestamp on the footage shows the incident occurred July 5 at 11:17 a.m.
The police encourage anyone with information that would assist in identifying the vehicle and/or its driver to call them at 203-834-6260.

Police arrested Shari Grasso, 52, of Silvermine Avenue in Norwalk Wednesday on a warrant from March 21. Police say Grasso was driving a 2014 Honda Civic within the Wilton while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Grasso posted a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at the Stamford Superior Court on July 18.
First responders to an accident Saturday morning around 6:15 a.m. in the area of 496 Danbury Road found a pickup truck rolled onto its side, resting against a broken utility pole. Numerous 5-gallon buckets of paint were leaking onto the road, according to the police report.

After arranging for the driver and passenger to be transported to Norwalk Hospital for their injuries, police called Eversource to repair the live power lines down in the roadway. The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection was also contacted out of environmental concern for the paint spill. Danbury Road was closed for approximately six hours for the clean-up.
Police later charged the driver with failure to stay in the proper lane.
At approximately 10 p.m. on July 3, the Wilton police were part of a multi-agency response to a house fire. The Wilton, Ridgefield, New Canaan, Westport, Georgetown and Vista Fire Departments all answered the call to extinguish the blaze on Ryders Lane.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Wilton Fire Department.
