WILTON CT — Jewelry found, and the right of way abruptly lost, top the most recent list of Wilton police activity.

On May 29, Guang Luo of Norwalk was driving his 2015 Honda Accord southbound on Danbury Road through the intersection with School Road when his car was struck by a 2008 Toyota Prius being driven by a 17-year-old from Wilton. The driver of the Prius failed to yield the right of way to Luo as they tried to make a left turn into School Road. Both vehicles were disabled in the collision that followed, and needed to be towed away. Police issued the driver of the Prius an infraction for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection..

On May 27, police recovered woman's jewelry, "likely lost by a Memorial Day parade attendee," according to the report. Anyone who lost property around the time of the parade or near the parade route is urged to contact the Wilton Police Department at 203-834-6260 and reference case 19-5648.
