Wilton Police Blotter: Woman Arrested For Attempted Shoplifting

WILTON, CT — Wilton Police have released information about arrests and incidents from Dec. 7 to Dec. 13.

On Dec. 11, police went to Caraluzzi's Market after the store manager called and said someone tried to shoplift about $400 worth of groceries. Officers identified Elizabeth Moots of Danbury as a suspect based on security footage; she did not leave the store with any items, police said. Moots was charged with two larceny counts and released.

On Dec. 8, police arrested Andres Fabian Munoz-Ordonez of Norwalk on charges of theft or illegal possession of a license plate, misuse of registration, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating a motor vehicle without a license, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Police also said an officer found a set of Jaguar car keys and other keys on the side of the road in the area of Deforest Lane. Anyone who may be able to claim the keys is asked to call Wilton Police.
