Wilton Police Charge Man with DUI
Police responded to a call from a motorist complaining of a car being driven erratically.

WILTON, CT — Police arrested a Norwalk man for DUI after receiving a complaint of erratic driving early Sunday morning.
Police responded to a call from a motorist complaining of a car being driven erratically. When officers arrived on the scene at approximately 12:12 a.m., they reported "a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage."
The driver, Michael Ronemus, 63, of Yew Street in Norwalk, failed a field sobriety test and was taken to Wilton police headquarters.

Ronemus refused to take a breath test, and was charged with DUI. He posted a $250 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Dec. 13.
