Wilton Police Charge NYC Man With Identity Theft

WILTON, CT — Police charged a man with first-degree identity theft after they say he forged a check.

Joel Super, 30, of New York City, turned himself in to Wilton Police on April 2. There was an active warrant out for his arrest.

According to the police report, Super was wanted for an October 2019 incident involving a stolen check that was forged and cashed for $6,000.
