Wilton Police Charge Woman with Strangulation

WILTON, CT — A woman turned herself in to police headquarters in Wilton on an arrest warrant for strangulation.

Rachel Ragone, 25, of Madison Avenue in Bridgeport, was accused of strangling and assaulting another person on the night of Oct. 31 in Wilton. She was charged with two counts of strangulation/suffocation in the second degree, assault in the third degree and disorderly conduct.

Ragone was released on bail and scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on Dec. 10.
