The Wilton Police Department is investigating the theft of a catalytic converter stolen from​ a truck.

WILTON, CT —The police are investigating the theft of a catalytic converter stolen from a truck.

The Wilton Police Department received a report that a catalytic converter had been cut off a 2018 Ford E-450 truck outside of Performance Motorcars of Connecticut at 1039 Danbury Road.

Catalytic converter are emission control devices, valuable because they contain precious metals, such as platinum and rhodium.
