Wilton Police Make Final Arrest in Campus Jewelers Heist
The suspect was extradited to Connecticut to face felony first degree larceny charges

WILTON, CT — Police have made the fourth and final arrest from a jewelry heist that dates back to October 2017.
On Monday, Aug. 5, Wilton police took custody of Jorge Miranda, 39, at Green Haven, NY, Correctional Center. Miranda, of Astoria, NY, was extradited back to Connecticut to face felony first degree larceny charges stemming from a 2017 investigation.
Police say that Miranda and three accomplices, who have already been apprehended, conducted a distraction-type larceny at Campus Jewelers in Wilton and stole $21,000 worth of merchandise.

Miranda had been held in New York on similar charges prior to being turned over to Connecticut.
Miranda posted $100,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Aug. 15.
