Wilton Police Nab 15-Year-Old For Vehicle Thefts, Break-Ins

The Wilton Police Department reported the crimes occurred on March 25, in the area of Hurlbutt Street and Cannon Road.

WILTON, CT — Police apprehended a 15-year-old New Haven youth they say was connected with the theft of two vehicles, and the break-in of others.

The Wilton Police Department reported the crimes occurred on March 25, in the area of Hurlbutt Street and Cannon Road. Wilton police say the youth was caught on video burglarizing a vehicle in Wilton, and caught three hours later in Rye running from a vehicle stolen in Wilton.

The youth was arrested on a juvenile warrant in Bridgeport on May 6, and charged with first-degree larceny, fifth-degree larceny and third-degree burglary. He will appear before Juvenile Court in Stamford later this month.
