Wilton Police Nab Brooklyn Man in CVS Parking Lot on Larceny Rap

The suspect was arrested after a 40-minute search, according to police.

WILTON, CT — Police arrested a man for trying to steal some painkillers.

On June 13, a CVS employee called the Wilton PD to report that a man wearing a blue hat, blue shirt, black pants and maroon sneakers had tried to steal 19 bottles of Tylenol and other painkillers from the store, and then fled on foot.

Police searched in the area around 117 Old Ridgefield Road for 40 minutes before finding and detaining Andrew Chavez Fearon, 20, of Brooklyn.

Fearon was charged with sixth-degree larceny and criminal attempt to commit sixth-degreelarceny. Upon further investigation, police learned there was a paperless re-arrest warrant notification out for Fearon, for second degree failure to appear. He was held on a $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on June 14.
