Wilton Police Nab Man for Burglary, Larceny, and Identity Theft
Police tracked the use of one of the stolen credit cards in the North Haven and Meriden area.
WILTON, CT — Police arrested a man for burglary, larceny, and identity theft last week.
An investigation begun following the theft of a wallet in Wilton last October has led to the arrest of Kenneth Sarcione, 35, of Saw Mill Road in West Haven.
Police tracked the use of one of the stolen credit cards in the North Haven and Meriden area. Sarcione slipped up when he used the stolen card to place an order for pizza, and a request for subscriber information on that phone linked him to the number.

Further investigation revealed that Sarcione had been working in Wilton less than one mile from where the theft of the wallet from a vehicle occurred at the time of the theft. Surveillance footage showed a vehicle which resembled Sarcione's, as well as a female suspect the investigation revealed is known to Sarcione.
Sarcione was arrested by warrant on July 11 at Norwalk Superior Court, where he was later arraigned. He has been charged with third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit larceny, third degree identity theft, conspiracy to commit identity theft, credit card theft and illegal use of a credit card.

The Wilton Police Department has advised they expect to make additional arrests in this case.
