WIlton Police Nab Man On Weapon, Weed, Resisting Arrest
When police pulled the man over a traffic infraction, the juvenile riding in the car tipped them off to the gun.

WILTON, CT — Police pulled a motorist over for a traffic violation that ended with weapons and other charges.
Wilton police officers observed a 2001 Honda Civic crossing the double yellow line while traveling North on Danbury Road in the area of Route 107 shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday. The officer pulled over motorist Noel Dejesus, 19, of Norwalk, who was riding with a juvenile.
The police smelled marijuana inside the car, according to their report, and Dejesus "admitted to having a small amount." Dejesus resisted when the police attempted to remove him from his car, police said, "at which time the JV passenger indicated Dejesus had a gun in the vehicle."

The police were able to "gain control of Dejesus, getting him handcuffed," according to the report, and found a Kel-Tec 9mm handgun with a 7-round magazine inserted, along with a small amount of marijuana inside the Honda. Police also said they found a 10-round magazine on Dejesus' person during their search.
Dejesus was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, carrying a firearm without a permit, resisting/interfering with an officer, possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana, and failure to drive in the proper lane. He posted his $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear before Norwalk Superior Court on July 20.
