Wilton Police Promote School Resource Officer

WILTON, CT — The student resource officer at Wilton High School has received a promotion.

The Wilton Police Department promoted Officer Frank Razzaia to the rank of sergeant on Dec. 5.

Sgt. Razzaia, a graduate of Henry Abbott Technical School in Danbury, was hired by the Department in December of 2006.

Prior to his promotion to SRO, Sgt. Razzaia was a field training officer with the WPD since 2016, helping to train new recruits fresh from the academy.

Razzaia has been the recipient of a lifesaving award as well as several letters of Commendation and Recognition throughout his sixteen years with the department.
