Wilton Police Seek Public's Aid Identifying 'Erratic' E-Bike Riders
Police are seeking the public's help in their investigation of several reports of electric bicycles being ridden erratically in town.

WILTON, CT — Police are seeking the public's help in their investigation of several reports of electric bicycles being ridden erratically in and around the Wilton Center area, including the adjacent parks, trails, and Route 7.
"While these bikes can be fun and convenient, when operated recklessly they create grave safety concerns for their riders, pedestrians and vehicle operators," police cautioned on social media.
Residents who recognize any of the riders in the photo above are urged to contact the police at 203-834-6280, anonymously at 203-563-0256, by email at crime.watch@wiltonct.org, so that police "can ensure their safety as well as the safety of all those who traverse our roads."

"If you are a parent that has a child with an E-bike please have a conversation with them on safe operation," police have requested.
