Wilton Reads: 'The Tattooist of Auschwitz'

To encourage readership and to kick off the program, 200 paperback copies of the book will be distributed free of charge

WILTON. CT — The Wilton Library has set "The Tattooist of Auschwitz" by Heather Morris for its thirteenth Wilton Reads event.

The library hopes the community-wide read will "bring an exploration of the Holocaust through insightful programming and a collaboration with the Wilton Public Schools" it said in a release.

To encourage readership and to kick off the program, 200 paperback copies of "The Tattooist of Auschwitz" will be distributed free of charge courtesy of Fairfield County Bank on a first-come, first-served basis, one per person on Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to noon and from 6:30-7:30p.m. The library also has copies of the book in large print, eBook, eAudiobook, and audiobook on CDs.

The library will sponsor book discussions, a documentary film screening, a history lesson, a concert and more beginning March 5, all leading up to the author talk in-person with Heather Morris on April 11.
