There is a parking ban during winter storms. Residents are strongly encouraged to clear the fire hydrants near their homes if it gets covered by snow during a storm in case of an emergency.

Wilton Public Schools

  • All activities at Wilton schools, including SATs, scheduled for Saturday at Wilton High School, are canceled.

Wilton Parks & Recreation

  • All activities,programs & basketball games have been canceled for Saturday, January 23. The Community Center will be closed as well.

Community Events and Business Closings

  • Metro North will suspend service at 4 p.m. Saturday
  • Village Market is closing early Saturday at 11 a.m.
  • The Wilton Family Y is closed Saturday.
  • Wilton Library is closed Saturday
  • The Lumberyard Pub in Georgetown is closed Saturday
  • Tyler Ugolyn Memorial Basketball Tournament at Our Lady of Fatima School, Wilton, on Saturday Jan. 23 is canceled. Check www.olfcatholic.org for updated scheduling information.
  • Danbury Fair will close early Saturday, at 2 p.m. Department store, and restaurant hours may vary. They will resume normal operating hours 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 24.
